About Us

Tonks Feline Foster is a cat rescue organization serving the Southern California area. The rescue fosters, socializes, and adopts out cats of all ages. The organization was founded in 2019 by Nicholas and Katherine Noriega, active animal advocates in Orange County, California. While the organization was officially granted 501(c)(3) status in 2019, Nic and Kat have been deeply engaged in animal rescue for over two decades. Tonks Feline Foster is affectionately named for the couple's husky who adores helping to take care of the cats and kittens. 

Tonks Feline Foster saves cats through the generosity, care, and concern of animal lovers to help foster and network animals. Tonks Feline Foster has no paid employees and all funds and goods raised go directly to the care of the cats in the organization's care.

While all of the volunteers, including the founders, hold full-time jobs to support caring for cats, we feel it is a deeply rewarding, critically important, labor of love.

Tonks Feline Foster has the reputation of being an organization so committed to the work and care of cats that oftentimes, the local shelter recommends our organization to individuals surrendering cats, and calls on our organization to pull cats soon-to-be-euthanized from the shelter.
