Reducing Overcrowding in
High-Kill Shelters

Fostering is the heartbeat of our organization. We leverage our dedicated network of fosters to temporarily home cats and kittens so that they can receive medical care, love, and support until we find permanent, loving homes for these deserving cats. 

Unfortunately, Orange County has several kill-shelters where cats and kittens are euthanized everyday. Tonks Feline Foster has the reputation of being an organization so committed to the work and care of cats that oftentimes, the local shelter recommends our organization to individuals surrendering cats, and calls on our organization to pull cats soon-to-be-euthanized from the shelter. Please consider supporting these efforts by becoming a foster.
