TNR

Reducing Overpopulation
in the Community

Orange County has many cat colonies where large numbers of cats have been left to fend for themselves. Tonks Feline Foster feeds, traps, and provides as much medical care as possible to cats living in cat colonies. In instances where the cats are social, our organization places them with a foster and re-homes them. If cats are not social, Tonks Feline Foster engages in Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR).

TNR traps, spayed or neutered, and then releases cats back into the environment they came from. TNR slowly reduces cat colony populations over time.
